Chemicals called the Main cause of Parkinson's
Disease is caused by pesticide poisoning. - L.A. TimesStudies of 20,000 white male twins showed that Parkinson's disease was not genetic in origin but was caused by environmental toxins most likely pesticides and herbicides. This information comes from the Parkinson's research institute in Sunnyvale, CA. Dr. Caroline Tanner's report is in today's Journal of the American Medical Association. Only one twin contracted the disease whether fraternal or identical. If, the disease is genetic, identical twins which have the same genes would both get the disorder. This was not the case. The study results mean that there is little or no genetic contribution to the disease. The theory that Parkinson's is caused by chemicals was first introduced by Dr. Willaim Langston in 1982 when several young people developed Parkinson's symptoms overnight after taking tainted heroin. He found that the symptoms were caused by a contaminant MPTP, which is very similar to the chemicals used in pesticides and herbicides. To reinforce the fact that pesticides can cause serious problems there is a study out of Israel that there were high doses of DDT in woman that lead to high rates of breast cancer because the government allowed DDT to be used in farming. DDT has been banned in the U.S. for twenty five years do to it's cancer causing properties. Since it has now been banned in Israel there has been a drop in breast cancer rates. Caution: do not use pesticides. If at all possible, avoid them. Eat organic food whenever possible. Ask us about our pesticide detox program. Do not expose yourself to pesticides or herbicides as this can cause Parkinson's years later. There are a few isolated cases that the scientists relate to genetics so they will continue to spend huge amounts of money and resources on this tiny link. They are not interested in getting the government and pesticides companies to stop killing us by spraying our food supply. Organic farming would cut into their enormous profits and that doesn't seem likely soon. Consumer beware!!!!! Please inform your friends and loved ones. As is the case when the power elite is challenged there is a one-time article in the newspaper and then nothing is ever said again except the stupid mantra that everything is genetic and when we find the gene we will then surely find the cure. I wish these idiots would wake up. Parkinson's is caused by pesticides and herbicides poisoning of our bodies. Until that is dealt with they medical profession and the Parkinson's society will spend hundreds of millions of our money chasing their tails.
Tomatoes Fight off Cancer!57 of 72 studies examined by the Harvard Medical school linked tomatoes and tomato products with a reduced risk of cancer that will be published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute today. I guess pizza does have some redeeming qualities.
Magnets for back pain?20 patients tried magnets for back pain in a study conducted by the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Prescott, Arizona with no positive effect. Dr. Edward Collacot had the chronic back pain sufferers use a belt with magnets for six hours a day for three days and a days rest. There was no improvement in pain reported by the participants. This was reported in the wed. March, 13th 2000 edition of the Journal of the American Medical Association.
What’s New- Six Gene Therapy Deaths go Unreported

Parke-Davis, the pharmaceutical company who sponsored a gene therapy study
at New York Cornell Medical Center said that deaths in the study weren’t
reported because it did not think they were caused by the therapy.
Specifically, the six deaths occurred in heart research where genes are
supposed to provide information to grow new blood vessels where old ones are
blocked.
Clearly, the National Institutes of Health should have been notified since Federal
officials have the responsibility to stop research that is considered dangerous.
If all deaths are not reported by drug companies the FDA will not be able to protect
the public’s health. The drug companies and scientists that have a financial interest
in the gene therapies contend however, that they do not have to file reports and that
their records should be considered confidential.
After the recent death of a teenager at the University of Pennsylvania officials sought
for complete reporting by the drug companies. Parke-Davis did report the deaths but did
not consider it a legal requirement. This is another instance of letting the fox guarding
the hen house. When there is a 100 billion dollar market for heart disease the quest for
financial gain pushes aside all rationality. The government that is supposed to protect
us claims that they are unable to control the powerful drug interests. Let the public beware.
Folic Acid Prevents Birth defects-Public not properly informed by Medical Doctors.

Folic Acid prevents spina bifida a birth defect that in severe cases can cause still birth’s
and paralysis in children. Two hundred micrograms of Folic Acid a day can eliminate this
disorder in 85% of the cases when given within the first two weeks of pregnancy. Only 30%
of medical doctors know about the simple vitamin treatment and less than one third of doctors
recommended Folic Acid to there patients. Shockingly, 50% of the doctors surveyed in 1998
by the March of Dimes did not know that women were unlikely to get adequate Folic Acid from
their diets. This is another instance of the inadequate training of medical doctors in
nutritional therapy. Remember there is no incentive to advertise this in the media because
the drug companies cannot reap huge profits!
The Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia were confounded by the fact that the
public was not aware of the benefits of Folic Acid. If there are not huge profits, the
media which is influenced by the drug companies, will not advertise it and this government
will not do the job of protecting the public from something the public is not concerned
about. There is also research that the lack of ability to metabolize folic acid leads
to higher incidence’s of Down’s Syndrome. Folic Acid is a must! This is just another
instance where our goal is to inform the public of vital current research that effects
